Your child will be doing their fitness run the week of December 6. It is suggested that those students with morning phys ed eat a good breakfast 3-4 hours before the run. Students running after lunch, you should bring lunch that day and eat after the run. It is important that all runners walk for 3-4 minutes after they finish to allow the body to recover from this activity before sitting down and or eating.

If your child is not able to run please request an alternative assignment.

November 2010

It is time for your student to be working on their fitness and conditioning. We will be doing activities during November to get your child ready for the Presidents fitness run the first week of December. If there is any reason you child can not run, you must write a request for an alternative assignment.



Winter sports season has begun. Mr. Deyton and Mr Zizis are our coaches. Your child can sell Sonic cards to raise their fees for sports.

APRIL RUN AND MAKE UP

The Liberty students will do their runs on the following dates.

April 5 3a,2a,1a, and 5a
April 6 3b,2b,1b,and 4
April 7 8,7a,5b,and 6b
April 9 ka,b, 6a, and 7b

Makeup will be after AIMS testing.

Any parent or student that wishes to or cannot run must do the assignment below.




LIBERTY CHARTER SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION


If you are not able to or do not wish to do the run/walk for physical education class, you will have to do the following writing assignment.

Write a two page report on, How to keep the your heart and lungs fit without running.

Your report must be typed, 12 font, all margins 1 inch, single spaced, and no spaces
between paragraphs.

It must have an introduction, body, summary, and conclusion. Do not conclude with THE END.
